Modal is a bio-based fabric that is made from spinning beech tree cellulose.
Modal fibers are extremely soft to the touch and tenacious.
It’s made from plants that regenerate, so fewer chemicals are used in its manufacturing. The fabric is generally thought of as being more eco-friendly. Due to beech trees’ low water requirements, there is a 10%-20% reduction in the amount of water used in the production process.
